Commissioning and HVAC operations for over 30 years
Background
IM Service was founded with a single speciality: commissioning ventilation systems. Today we cover the full HVAC spectrum — ventilation, plumbing, electrical, automation, BMS and cooling — but the starting point remains the same. We measure, balance and document until the system delivers what the design specifies. We have worked on office buildings in Copenhagen, pharmaceutical plants on Zealand, cruise ships at European and Asian yards, and offshore platforms in the North Sea. Each project has added experience, and that experience shapes how we approach new ones.
Six technical disciplines
Ventilation — design, installation and commissioning of ventilation systems, from small office units to large industrial plants. Plumbing — water and heating systems, including balancing of cooling and heating circuits. Electrical — electrical connection and control of HVAC components. Automation — programming and configuration of control loops for dampers, valves and frequency converters. BMS — integration with building management and central monitoring systems. Cooling — cooling systems for comfort and process, including commissioning and optimization. This breadth means we take responsibility for the entire HVAC delivery — not just one subsystem.
Measured and documented
We do not hand over a system until measurements confirm it meets the design specification. Every commissioning is documented with protocols that the building owner and consultant can verify.
30+ years in the field
Our technicians have worked in engine rooms on ships, on offshore platforms in the North Sea and in clean rooms at pharmaceutical plants. That experience cannot be replaced by certifications alone.

DS 3090:2014
We perform commissioning in accordance with DS 3090:2014, the Danish standard for commissioning of building installations. The standard covers ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical and building automation, and ensures that requirements are met at every construction phase — from design through operation.
ISO 14644 & EU GMP Annex 1
Our technicians are trained in testing and data collection for qualification of HVAC systems and clean rooms. The training ensures compliance with ISO 14644 and EU GMP Annex 1 and strengthens audit readiness.
Denmark, Norway and international
Most of our work takes place in Denmark and Norway, but we follow the job wherever it is. Our technicians have worked at yards in Germany, Finland, China and South Korea. They have been on offshore platforms in the British, Danish and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea and carried out service in the Middle East. We handle travel planning, safety courses and mobilisation ourselves. When you contact us, you need not worry about the logistics — only the task.
